Community Tasting Notes 12

August 13, 2007 - The nose seems more reminiscent of Pinot Gris, somewhat more complex than a run of the mill Sauvignon Blanc that is unblended. Wonder if there was some semillon or other grape used in the blend. In the mouth it is somewhat thin but generally enjoyable as a complement to food but overall quite forgettable.

February 15, 2007 - Somewhat interesting, spicy tasting wine.

January 7, 2007 - Light, friuty with good floral notes, nice lemon zing to it. I like this style -no grapefruit!- the semillon nicely rounds it out. A great summer drinker for under $10

December 2, 2006 - put a cup into a risotto with squash, and had the rest with dinner, great, realiable, clean.

(Lapostolle Sauvignon Blanc) Nice savory, grassy nose with lime edges; soft, earthy, sweet lime palate; lacks acidity
