June 6, 2021 - Light-medium golden color. PNP, drank a couple glasses over 2 hours. Great nose, pear, coffee cake, marzipan, golden apple, white flowers, honey butter, creme brulee, lemon chiffon. The palate is medium full bodied, green orchard fruits, crisp and still very fresh, vanilla bean and spice, honey, lemon, wet stones, long and balanced. This is the best it has been. 93+pts.

May 25, 2019 - Downtown Patio Evening (Shari's, Mpls, MN): Light medium gold color. Drank a glass over 45 minutes. Same bottle as GWAsh64. Full bodied, marzipan, spiced, golden fruits, rich, almost honeyed in texture, baked pear, oak. These are still in good shape and I'm in no hurrry to drink mine just yet. I've always preferred the Hyde a tad in the this vintage, but this is not far behind.

March 9, 2018 - Many Napa Chardonnays are over the top in terms of oak - this one managed to stay within boundaries. Pretty typical oaky, vanilla flavours. Usually not a fan, but this one is worth a try. Nice long finish, gets better with some time in the glass. Bitter on the palate which is my usual issue with New World Chardonnays. Well done overall.

December 6, 2015 - just could not get enough of this ... drank over 2 nights and just thoroughly enjoyed every sip. i have loved almost every wine drawn from Hudson, but Ramey has the touch w/ chardonnay ...
