June 7, 2017 - Big, bold nose with lots of fresh oak, along with some hints of cedar and graphite. Dark fruits on the palate, but lacks the complexity I'd expect from a 10 year old Gran Riserva. Good, but a tad overpriced.

March 23, 2017 - The wine looks inky colored. It smells like violet, prune, plum and black currant (cassis). It tastes like blackberry, raisin and prune. The body is medium/full. The wine has polished texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.
