August 21, 2018 - I was surprised this wine was as good as it was. I expected it to be flabby and over the hill. However, it had a surprisingly nice albeit restrained nose of tobacco and maybe a little forest floor. The color was remniscent of a much older Bordeaux, very brickish on the edges. Still pleasant, well-resolved fruit on the palate.
