    May 4, 2021 - Deep yellow colour.
Oxidative nose with nice nutty depth and some sweety fresh citrus.
The palate is candied lemon, smoky, nutty, pound cake with lovely focus and intensity.
It's a rare style champagne among Blanc de Noirs.

    April 26, 2020 - DG 11/2018
Twenty-seven years 'sur lattes'. Incredibly intense and mature Fleury-like nose that almost smells like cognac rather than champagne; heavy on toasted spices such as cinnamon, clove, pepper, cardamom, highly mushroomy note with moss and dry leaves, women perfume, smoke, raisins, maple syrup, almost burnt sugar, quince, mango, peach, apricots, raspberries, baked apples and pears, pine nuts, pine resin, oxidative finish with amontillado-sherry-wine-like character.
Very dense texture, creamy, velvety bubbles, remarkably high acidity, it will last for decades. Old Fleury millésimes are something exceptional, the long ageing gives them a profound and singular complexity, truly personal.

July 29, 2017 - PnP at home. Had this after the wonderful 2008 Gimmonet. This wine could not be any more different from the 08. Old wine, shows the age, very buttery with a ton of notes of brett and sweetness. Reminds of old chard with some bubbles. Ambivalent on this wine considering a $150 price tag.
