  October 31, 2015 - Extremely light and bland on the palate - almost seemed "watered-down". It just lacked the extraction of flavors from the grapes that I am seeking in a good Zinfandel. I know it is 1/3 of the price of Zins from Napa/Sonoma - but for me I would rather spend the additional $'s to enjoy a fuller mouth-feel and more depth of flavors. I won't be purchasing this wine again...

  August 3, 2015 - Violet but not opaque. Very typical Zin nose and palate. Not complex but sweet clean fruit; raspberries and liquorice. Not overwhelming - quite light. Some tannins but smooth. Should last another 5 years. Very pleasant; easy drinking. Good for a bbq/chili con carne.

  February 22, 2015 - Have tasted a number of PC wines at higher price points, and wasn't expecting much from this one as a result. It over delivered - good fruit to balance out the typical Paso heat. Very good value - will join it's neighbour to the far north (seghesio) as a very drinkable value pick.
