    June 22, 2019 - Something nice for my 200th post! Super dark black cherry fading to blood orange towards the rim. Very rich, deep and dark blueberry and blackberry compote, camphor and warm red clay dust on the nose. Medium full bodied with gobs of crushed blueberries and blackberries on the palate with added black tea, chalk and blue plum skins. With time and air it becomes rounder and sweeter on the palate and some notes of leaf mulch emerge on the nose.  Tart acidity and lots of drying black tea tannins on the finish. Still very young but utterly delicious even now!
