December 13, 2015 - Intens geconcentreerde paarse kersen kleur. Dunne witte rand. Gekleurde tranen.
Discrete neus. Donker fruit (zwarte kers, donker bosfruit), wat munt/menthol, hintje kruiden (laurier).
Volle wijn in aanzet, met zuren die opkomen in middenstuk, en alcohol. Alles wel in balans gehouden. Tannines zacht, zorgen mee voor romig en krachtig mondgevoel.
Afdronk met kruidigheid en zwart fruit.
Mooi, moet nog openkomen. Geduld... -

February 14, 2015 - A nose of some dark fruit and spices, medium garnet in color. A medium to full bodied red, with blackberry, plum, flowers and spice on finish, good with food. www.winelx.com

February 3, 2015 - Deep and dark with more weight and overall seriousness than I have had with Dolcetto before. Nose is perfumed with wild berries and notes of menthol, wild fennel fronds, and tar. The palate seemed to gain weight as it was open with tannins becoming more aggressive. I can't think of a better bottle of Dolcetto that I have ever had, what a great QPR.
