August 28, 2019 - Ink colored pour. Rich deep blackberry , plum and cassis.

November 4, 2016 - We've drank a few of these and have 1 left - and this bottle was fabulous. Maybe the time in the bottle has finally peaked but this was a tremendous wine. Dark fruit, well balanced, the acidity was a touch strong on the long finish. Loved this bottle.

December 7, 2015 - This is our last bottle of the 2011. Very good with dark cassis fruit and a smooth finish.

October 30, 2015 - I had this with a pizza of four cheeses, tomatoes, kalamata olives, and anchovies--an odd pairing, I know, but my wife was away, and this wine and all of the above foods are things that I love. Afterward, I fell asleep on the couch watching TV and awoke at about 1:30. There was a swallow of the wine left in my glass, and I drank it while walking to the kitchen. I was gobsmacked with the cedary Cabernet goodness of it!

April 22, 2015 - First night, a bit closed and disjointed, which is how I remember this wine, but this bottle really opened up well after 24 hrs. Still dominated by oak and vanillins but much softer dark fruits and medium long finish on night 2 that just didn't show on first night. Probably 87 on 1st night and 90 on second.
