Community Tasting Notes 6

September 28, 2023 - Drank during Cornerstone Provenance Night Event with more than 30 wines tasting. Did not have enough time to take down notes and didn’t have proper wine glasses. In general, the wines are still drinking fine and have characteristics of old vintage wine; forest floor, some barnyard, spices, tea, hawthorn, toast. I only managed to use my own personal score to rate the wine.

May 23, 2017 - Bouquet started with intense barnyard before developing to cassis, amarena cherry, plum, cedar, leather, milk-chocolate, moist leaves, some cool smokiness floating above. Pure elegance on the palate: medium body, sappy fruit, smooth molten tannins and surprisingly well dosed acidity, long finish. Not overwhelmingly intense, but with a lot of subtle elegance. Maybe just the magic of a bottle? If i had another one, i wouldn´t wait long finishing it...

April 19, 2017 - Transparent, pale, Red fruited, high toned, small berries, appetising.

September 27, 2016 - Lovely vibrant red with a touch of bricking. Sweet purple fruit nose becoming floral. It is weightless on the palette. Soft with light tannins. A bit of fruit, blackberries, cedar and just a touch savoury.

June 5, 2016 - Rich and elegant. There is just a veil of something masking this which stayed, at a low level, all the way though. Frustrating!
