November 25, 2014 - This deep-to-opaque ruby wine is what one thinks of when the term "Napa Valley Cabernet" enters a conversation. Ripe black currants, dark chocolate, pickling spice, licorice and menthol adorn the nose and palate of this full-bodied offering. Low-to-medium acidity, big sweet tannins and nicely integrated alcohol (14.5%) make this wine a joy to drink. The finish is medium-to-long and very smooth. Ehlers Estate simply knows how to do Cabernet! Drink now-2025.
