Community Tasting Notes 25

August 6, 2018 - This wine has evolved nicely in the last four years. Pretty partly floral nose. The palate comes together well. Not much complexity, but very balanced and easy to drink with a variety of foods. Noticeable bricking. Probably in the beginning stages of decline. Good value at $15 from WTSO.

November 25, 2017 - Very good with Turkey etc on Thanksgiving day

June 27, 2017 - Mellowed down some since the last bottle and in a good spot, with its black cherry, raspberry, and strawberry fruit complimented by medium + acidity. Not quite simple, but I don't expect further development, and there are not many tertiary elements present.

September 14, 2016 - True to type. Red fruit dominates with some spiciness and underlying minerality. This is a medium bodied Pinot Noir with lively acidity. Good with food or by itself. It has improved quite a bit in the last two years, though don't think it will continue to do so.

September 7, 2016 - Definitely just a little better than it was almost three years ago. Strong notes of pepper, and just the right sourness. Really nice finish. Sadly, this is my last bottle.
