December 6, 2016 - The notes from my last bottle are largely unchanged. This one shows more pyriazine initially (lessens a bit with air) but also the addition of black pepper. The structural notes are integrating but strong enough it should continue to drink well for at least 5 more years.

September 22, 2014 - Lovely wine .. my new favorite red from the Finger Lakes - nice red fruits, slight pepper. Not quite Cheval Blanc, but neither is the price

June 21, 2014 - Cab franc/merlot blend. Very nice fresh, bright and juicy cherry from the cab franc is dominant, but on day 2 I also get a nice minerality and some additional stone fruit. Nice effort from a ny winery.

March 20, 2014 - Aromas and flavors of brier, red fruit, earth and green pepper. Well made, with medium acidity and light tannins. I can see this aging until at least its 10th birthday.
