Community Tasting Notes 2

May 7, 2017 - I've always liked the golden hues of Condrieu and see the precious liquid swirl with its long legs and oil texture. On the nose, very promising with ripe citrus and tropical fruit, primarily mango. On the palate, however, disappointing. The fruit one might expect to hit home simply wasn't there. Mostly likely this vintage is old and probably supports the school of thought that Condrieu should be drunk young. Good minerality though but acidity is on the wane as well.

July 1, 2013 - Actually was a 2009- surprisingly fresh, concentrated lemon verbena with subtle floral notes. went well with grilled wild sockeye salmon and feta.
