Community Tasting Notes 7

June 18, 2015 - Very pale salmon color. Very consistent with previous notes. Just a great summer wine, plenty going on with a variety of fruity aromas, peach, strawberry, citrus, etc. Very refreshing, a touch sweet.

February 10, 2014 - Very pale, red/orange color. Fine bouquet of peach and plum. Light body with refreshing acidity. This is a very fine rose.

January 15, 2014 - Slightly sweet, strawberry and raspberry on the palate. Needs a little acid to cut through the sweetness. Pairs well with shellfish and spicy dishes.

September 3, 2013 - A little sweet compared to last years version when this wine was made "out of necessity". I guess I liked the green apple version better in retrospect. A little more acid, a little lighter on the palate would have served this year's version well.

August 3, 2013 - Willamette Valley Oregon Trip 4 & 1/2 Days; 7/29/2013-8/4/2013 (Willamette Valley, Oregon): Consistent with previous bottles, darn fresh and vibrant. Even was good on a chilly evening on the Oregon Coast!
