Community Tasting Notes 3

July 24, 2019 - Two bottles purchased on release, same result - screechy acids and oak, little else. Kept in the fridge and re-tasted over three days with no improvement.

December 16, 2015 - All acid and oak, which normally I don't mind as long as there's some semblance of fruit. This had none. Dumped 1/2 the bottle. Guessing this wine is in a dumb phase. Sit on it for a bit and hopefully it will come around.

April 17, 2015 - I was very impressed with this offering and would consider this to be a AFWE reference standard for Chard coming out of the WV. I decanted this for 4 hours and returned to bottle and poured 1 night later. Acidity was generous and seemed to quiet down at the time of consumption.

A nice, muted nose of honeysuckle, mild apricots, and citrus pith. I think the only thing missing was an extended finish. Paired extremely well with ricotta and honey. Great job Marcus!
