  April 30, 2023 - Very classy. Black and purple fruits with truffle, bacon fat and hints of dried herbs. In a great spot right now. My last bottle unfortunately.

  January 27, 2023 - Deep dark reddish purple in color. Soaring aromas of licorice laced dark berry compote, pepper and smoky meat on the nose. A full bodied palate shows incredible depth to the sweet and savory dark berry preserves, bbq meat, medium acidity, present tannins and a long spice and licorice flavored finish. This straddles CA & N. Rhone so well, and is a screaming value.

  February 1, 2022 - Deep dark purple in color. Classic soaring aromas of cassis, black raspberries, road tar, pepper and violets. A full bodied palate shows sweet & savory dark berry compote, hint of bbq meat, medium acidity, fine grained tannins and a very long fruity/floral finish. Superb QPR.

  November 4, 2021 - Dinner at Emery Wood Fired. Last bottle of 3, PNP. Similar to my last note but much less funk to start. Cool dark fruit, earth and a bit of spice on the nose. Medium bodied with smooth tannins. Spicy black fruits and earth reminisicent of Hermitage. Great wine, in a great place. 93 points

  December 15, 2020 - Decanted two hours. Bacon fat, dried blueberries, black and white pepper on the palate. Showing beautifully now if you like this very masculine style.
