August 16, 2023 - Tasted old. Aged in cellar for too many years.

February 3, 2023 - Decanted, then tried, and found that it was oxidized. Still, it's drinkable with the right food, and certainly useful for cooking...just not the type of wine that I want to take to a dinner party. So, I opened my last bottle, which was fine.

May 1, 2022 - Very nice, structured Barolo. Not noticeably oaked, more traditional in style. Great fruit, especially after 4 hours of air. Not the most pure or refined Barolo, but a fantastic bargain. Has many years left.

January 28, 2022 - Starts to display that Nebbiolo silkiness after 4 hours in the decanter. A bit of an amber tint to the color, which suggests mid-life, but still lots of fruit and tannins. No hurry to drink these unless the fruit begins to fade. A really good Barolo QPR given the $23 price tag 7 years ago.
