December 28, 2014 - Delicious and superbly flavoursome Pinot. Dark fruited, well balanced with a relaxed spine of tannin, good length and develops a real peackok's tail.

April 26, 2014 - Rich, fruity, a little earthy, spicy, lush mouthfeel

July 23, 2012 - pop-n-pour; ripe cherries and blueberries; spices and herbs backbone; tannin is smooth and good weight and structure; simple, ripe and oaky NZ PN

June 22, 2012 - Medium intensity cherry red with ruby rim. Medium-high intensity nose, cherries in liqueur, wool, mushrooms, raspberry, aromatic herbs, undergrowth and eucalyptus. Soft attack, amazing structure, medium body, long and wide, tasty, fills the mouth, good acidity perfectly integrated, a bit astringent still. Very long aftertaste of medium-high intensity. It needs some bottle, but spectacular right now.

December 18, 2011 - A great NZ pinot. Deep crimson colour with rich fruit nose of rose, cherry and spice. Palate medium weight with real drive and density. This is not Burgundy but Otago pinot with all its glorious fruit flavour and palate length. A great example .
