April 7, 2022 - A beautifully light wine with an uncanny fresh beehive honeycomb waxy sweetness. Delish

May 4, 2017 - Wonderfully subtle Chardonnay, just a hint of oak, depth of fruit and lovely long finish

September 4, 2014 - There is a chance I will sound like a broken record when talking about the amazing contrast between 2011 reds and whites in South Eastern Australia. The reds are generally tough going but an increasing number of the whites, especially Chardonnay can be best described as thrilling with the 2011 from Yarra Yering one such example.

The nose is ethereal with layers of stone fruit, gun flint and wood spice that show themselves individually and as a complex collective force.

The palate delivers both elegance and drive with a mineral and citrus core interjected by nectarine, brioche and textual wood spice. The finish shows layered stone fruits and length that rivals the best of chardonnays.

One of the best wine I have tasted from 2011 that has a long future ahead.

June 27, 2014 - Yarra Yering Wine Dinner (HKMA Central): Not much nose here. Lemon grapefruit and yogurt. Vanilla. Low acid Yakult taste for those who had Yakult before. Don't think the shrimp balls did it any justice though. Totally overpowered the wine.

November 11, 2013 - Subtle oak. Nectarine. Gentle acidity. Super elegant. Builds on the palate. Subtle, but long finish. Great.
