March 27, 2018 - Pop and poured, which didn't do the wine justice. Electric acids, apples, citrus, herbs, and minerals for days. On the lighter side of medium weight with the waxy apple skin mouthfeel that is pinot blanc. With some air, the acids calm down slightly but brings everything into better balance adding depth to all the flavors. Great wine esp. since I don't really like most pinot blancs.

June 30, 2014 - Creamy, yogurty nose with complex ghee and nettle notes. Rich and palate-coating with flavors that follow the nose. Dry, with a firm, racy backbone of acidity. Love the balance here. Seems to have the structure to develop at least in the short to medium term, not sure how the flavors will evolve though. Holger Koch and now Mobitz have really opened my eyes to Baden weissburgunder.
On day 2 and 3, the lactic notes turn toward creamsicle and tinned fruit, and I'm liking this a little less. Still a great spine of acid though.
