May 13, 2015 - Bricky in color, with the taste of tea, not much fruit, but a nice texture, drink this sooner than later before the remaining red fruits fade away.

December 31, 2012 - Slightly bricking garnet red colour.....but looks a lot younger than a 32 year old wine. Nose is lovely fully mature St. Julien with a touch of barnyard and lots of cedar wood, cigar box, damp loamy earth and damp autumnal bracken. Palate is very rounded and integrated with soft powdering tannin and nice autumnal fruits of plums and dates and prunes. Fading but still very elegant. Fair length. A super example of well-kept fully mature classic Englishman's claret.
