April 18, 2020 - Backyard Tasting (Casa Shikoh): pale gold; a lot of Riesling character on the nose; very mineral on the palate, racy acidity, 13.5 % ABV; field blend of 35% Riesling, 33% Pinot Blanc, 18% Pinot Gris, and 14% Gewürtztraminer in an Alsatian style, named after Abraxas God of the 365 heavens; consumed out of 1.5L bottle, still quite fresh

July 10, 2018 - Same bottle as Rocknroller, and I very much agree with his comments. Fairly sure I would have pegged it as 100% riesling in a blind tasting. Very enjoyable, unfortunately it was my only bottle.

July 8, 2018 - Monthly Tasting Group: Interesting Whites (ABC) at Heirloom (Heirloom, St.Paul, MN): Light gold color. Drank 1 glass over 40 minutes. A field blend of 35% Riesling, 33% Pinot Blanc, 18% Pinot Gris and 14 Gewurz. This was interesting, and I do mean that in a good way. It certainly comes off Alsatian in style, but it feels more like Riesling to me and less so a blend. Very dry, fusil, lemon peel, lemon grass, mineral driven and less aromatic than expected. This was fun to try.

February 2, 2018 - This Abraxas has held up extremely well, and would push out the end-date at least another 2 years to 2020.
