December 2, 2023 - Red fruit, leather, and spice on the nose. Powerful palate with red fruit, spice building in the midpalate, leather, and earth. Medium plus acid, medium body, moderate fine grain tannins, medium complex finish.

February 17, 2023 - Got better and better with time and air. Drank it over 5 hours, and it just kept improving. Full body, some tannins.

February 11, 2023 - It smells like cherry, black currant (cassis), mineral, vanilla, lead pencil and blackberry. Still very fruity. Have a long life left.Balanced. Very good. Long persistent taste

October 2, 2022 - Open, expressive, powerhouse of a Brunello. Dark cherries, wild strawberries, tiled soil, leather, spice - the beginnings of real complexity and balance developing. Beautiful mouthfeel; ripe, spicy and fleshy; demands attention. It’s been about 5 years since the last bottle, which at the time was dominated by angular tannin. These are still present and noticeable, although starting to integrate and soften. We are early in the window here; will benefit from time and promises incredible beauty in the decades ahead.
