Community Tasting Notes 2

July 22, 2019 - A nice dark red wine that exuberates dark fruit especially cherry and blackberry. The nose will open and show the aromas of age with a couple hours of aeration. Wait for it, it makes a huge difference. Now the wine has tasted and blended with oxygen, the alcohol has disappeared, the vanilla spice has opened. An incredible 19 months of oak aging has blossomed this wine. Delicious and ready to open with food. It reached its full potential after about 2-3 hours of opening. I would enjoy revisiting this wine again and knowing how to prepare for it. Well worth the value considering the many Spanish cheaper alternatives.

September 27, 2014 - Opened yesterday, muted nose and palate, very tannic finish. TODAY however, beautiful nose with lots of dark berry notes, palate is smooth and concentrated flavors. Finish is elegant and smooth and very long.

    19 months in oak!!!
