May 3, 2021 - Deep garnet color with very intense aromas, the nose is still fresh with red fruits, cherry in alcohol, earthy. The palate is dry with very nice balance of tannins and acidity, with blueberries, cherries, earth again.
The long finish has a touch of sweetness that I loved here. -

February 23, 2020 - Delicious. Medium garnet youthful edge variation, pronounced aromas and flavors, nose is still quite fresh with red fruits, cherry, cacao, palate is dry and integrated, mirabelle, dried blueberries, candied cherry, anise, earth, tannins are firm, long finish. Plenty of life left here as this ages gracefully.

November 23, 2015 - Pure, polished nose of cherry and earth. Textured red fruit in the mouth. This is a Chianti Classico for folks who don't think they like Chianti. Marred only by a bretty barnyard note I perceive on the palate but not the nose. (From magnum)

February 1, 2015 - Earthy on the nose. After it opened a bit, it drank and smelled like a much more expensive and bigger bottle of wine. A darn good value. Blackberry dominant. This was a reminder of how much I do love a well made Chianti.
