September 24, 2022 - 1966 is one of my favourite Bordeaux vintages and the way the wines and their colour have lasted so long is a great testament to it. I did not expect much here despite an excellent level and the rarity of such an old cork coming out in its entirety. It was very mature, yes, but a soft fruit that did not dry out at any point of the hour long time to drink it. Medium length but still amazingly healthy. The things never cease to amaze.

June 6, 2010 - various occaisions, dipping into a case; mostly gently faded like your old auntie that still wears gloves in summer, with one bottle more alive with elegant fragrance and sweetness, all you'd hope for in a delicately aged minor growth.

December 13, 2000 - Healthy colour; wonderful, lively, harmonious nose, lovely depth, complete, lovely bottle age; complete, juicy, flawless, medium weight, stylish, good structure, tannin, long-lived and classical, stylish, fleshy; excellent length. Easily GCC quality.

November 3, 2000 - Lovely ripe mature aromas, deepens with air; mature but lively, well-balanced, slender but not too light; good length, clean. Healthy, in good shape.
