March 28, 2020 - Beautiful. Very elegant Cab. Tastes almost Old World. Really great stuff.

May 4, 2017 - Birthday wine and a darn good choice. Elegant black fruit mixes with earth and medium to light tannins to form a fruit forward nicely layered cab.

February 27, 2016 - served amongst four of us over a Tuscan Steak tenderloin; the aroma or nose was very appealing, full and loaded with black berry and dark cherry, leather-like flavors; nicely balanced, with integrated tannins, smooth on the palate with a lengthy, pleasant and full finish; delightful with dinner with potatoes au gratin; everyone felt it was a superb choice

November 26, 2015 - The wine looks purple colored. The legs are medium. There is moderate sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry, cinnamon and clove. The body is medium/full. The wine has polished texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

(Va Piano Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Du Brul Vineyard Yakima Valley) A very aromatically pretty wine with earth, dark cherry, licorice, and toasty spices. The palate is understated and refined with chewy fruit flavors. Continues to ramp up in intensity after several days of being open. Aged in French oak (75% new). 75 cases produced. To be released next spring. Sample provided by winery
