December 28, 2017 - From a magnum, decanted, color is brown and light. Opens up after an hour with light bordeaux flavor and taste. No fruit to be found, interesting nose of brackish mud, agreeable mid palate of dry, but light wine, with short aftertaste, everyone enjoyed it for the Christmas eve dinner with the drama of opening an old wine.

February 1, 2010 - Acquired by a friend at an estate sale [along with a '67 Lafite and a '79 Ch. Duhart Milon]. Clean cork that was an absolute monster to get out! The cork refused to budge until I simply had to ream the cork to get the corkscrew out. I proceeded to carve the rest of the cork until the last 25% of the cork that inelegantly fell into the bottle. Pouring the wine showed a little bit of "red wine" nose and reddish/brown color. The best you could say about the taste was that it wasn't "that bad". Not good by any definition but if you were on a desert island and this was your only bottle... Swim for it!
