Community Tasting Notes 10

April 7, 2023 - My last bottle and it was great. Absolutely loved this and wish I had a couple more bottles. It has developed so well in bottle. The fruit has evolved nicely without any fading. There is obvious oak that adds structure, and the finish remains long. No need to drink up if you have a bottle or two, but definitely worth saving for a good meal.

September 29, 2021 - Lake's Folly mini vertical. Drank in Gabriel Standart.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, yellow lemon colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium intensity, with aromas of flint, integrated butterscotch, roasted nuts, lemon curd. Developed.
On the palate, dry, medium+ acdity, medium alcohol (135), medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of integrated sweet cream oak, butterscotch underlying, ripe citrus lemon curd, ripe yellow peach. Long finish.
Very good quality. Nice wholesome mealy mouth-feel with nuttiness. Lovely drinking at peak. Good expression of balanced ripe oaked Chard.

December 25, 2020 - So worth the wait. A classic buttery chard with strong oak notes.
