  February 22, 2020 - Popped and poured to enjoy with lamb shank stew and cous cous.
  Lots of tertiary aromas going on here; leather, umami, mushroom tending to truffle, a little forest floor, touches of farmyard...Initially a little ripe red berry but this fades on the nose. More of the same in the mouth with a touch of liquorice and a dollop of tannins on the mid palate. Broad, balanced and pleasing. Matched nicely.

  January 31, 2001 - A nice wine. Now at its peak. There is still fruit and a good structure. Will definitely stay on this level for another year, but drinking now is a very good option.
