October 14, 2014 - Wow. Drank Sunday night and, wow. Beautiful, perfectly balanced, amazing fruit and drinking perfectly, after 12 years. The epitome of RRV grace and excellence, the kind of wine you savor, every sip, and gone too soon. An absolute pleasure, a treat, I wish I had more!

January 15, 2014 - Bold golden yellow in the glass. Powerful ripe lemon-pear on the nose. Full volume lemon oil, big alcohol, and generous amounts of new oak. Although the pendulum has swung away from this style in the RRV, there are quite a few that still clamor for these extreme concoctions of chardonnay. Big chested DD in your face.
