  December 13, 2021 - From last consumed bottle in 2019, the wine has improved. Still needs a 2hr decant. Slight orange tint at the outer rim in glass, nice aroma, good earth and fruit flavors. Still slight tart cherry during finish, but no metalic taste effects as last noted in 2019. Nice QPR..

  August 15, 2021 - Ready to drink. Medium body, balanced, with well-integrated tannins. The fruit is rich without being overripe. Blackberry, cherry, tobacco, with some green notes and not unpleasant astringency.

  May 7, 2020 - Quite similar descriptors as last time, but overall enjoying the wine more this bottle; I think maybe I scored it a little low last time. Still not overly complex, but it's a complete, balanced wine, and perfect with our lunchtime burgers. Bordeaux and burgers for the win, amirite? I'll be drinking my last one in the near term.

  August 9, 2019 - Slightly metallic on the nose with earth, charcoal and some sweet fruit in the background. Follows with astringent thin tart fruit flavors. Some earth, with a long finish. Over-all, disjointed.
