  June 28, 2020 - Single piece cork, minimal saturation, no sign of seepage
  Excellent fill level
  Decanted 1 hour prior, tasted over 3h.
  Some sediment, straining recommended
  
  V: some opacity, dark centre with lighter meniscus showing a bit of orange.
  N: leather, tar, black fruit and cacao.
  P: plusher than expected, good concentration and none of Mourvèdre’s cacao bitterness. Flavours follow the nose, finishes with a suggestion almost sweetness,although not cloying.
  Modern styled wine, and very different to say a Bandol from a traditional producer.
  Much more approachable.
  
  70% mourvedre, 20% grenache and remainder carignan

  14% abv

  March 3, 2018 - Quite a rustic one - spiced prunes and game on the nose, blueberries on the palate and a hefty dose of acidity and velvety tannins. Decanted 3 hours prior, which it definitely needed.

  October 27, 2017 - Bought from the Wine Society September 2017, £22. Good value, robust flavour, would buy again.

  February 22, 2014 - Drank with friends round for supper, so no tasting note but a very impressive wine full of fruit. Very tannic but it opened up in a decanter. A complex wine which should develop well
