Community Tasting Notes 10

January 18, 2020 - Wine Tasting Group - Napa and Sonoma - Jan 18, 2020 (Classic Wine Storage, Dallas, TX): Badly oxidized. Bummer.

August 15, 2017 - I thought I had pulled the 1991 , which tends to show much fresher in 750 than ‘90, but no. Deep golden color, apple overlaid with oxidative notes and nuts. Fred likes more than me, I run for a replacement bottle (the Jadot). C/C+

July 6, 2016 - This I had put out as a throwaway for the 4th (as previous bottle was very advanced) and it was never opened. Actually, this showed very well if not especially complex. Apple and white pit fruits, good acids, just the slightest hint of nuttiness. B/B+

May 31, 2016 - Sawdust cork, dark color. A few people liked, for me this was quite tired and oxidized. Storage or the wine? C+

October 16, 2012 - From a bottle with a perfect fill and cork. Stored in the same cellar since release. Mildly oxidized and a nose of tropical fruits. Enjoyable, but quite monotone. Drink up as this probably will not get any better.
