October 19, 2023 - Academie de Vin dinner in Bordeaux. From MAG. I liked this wine for its balance. Beautiful red fruit, some earthy elements and spices. Not the last word on complexity but elegant and great with food.

July 9, 2023 - Black cherry, black currant, blackberry and notable oak with tannins still firm but not overbearing at this point. An assertive wine but fairly well balanced and quite pleasurable with red meat or a sauce with ample fat. Would hold 3-5 more years before probably entering its prime drinking window.

October 11, 2022 - On the nose you can already feel the effect of the years with in particular pretty woody notes and black fruits. The mouth is worthy of a wine that has evolved well, the wine is ample, structured, the tannins are perfectly melted with a nice perceptible acidity. The finish is both persistent, elegant but above all very delicious. Drink now through 2027.

January 5, 2021 - Plum and currant, liquored blackberry, mint and eucalyptus, black licorice, tobacco, soy, and black olive; resolving dusty tannins; Quite a tasty St. Emilion.

August 6, 2020 - From Magnum. Beautiful, typical right bank, medium body, ready to drink.
