January 19, 2020 - We also were surprised to see that it's 100% Merlot. Finely balanced herbaceousness with elegant black fruit. Loved this bottle!

April 5, 2018 - Bordeaux Trip 2018; 4/5/2018-4/6/2018 (Bordeaux, Fr): Nicely balanced, somm said it is 100% merlot which surprises me as there are herbal and minty notes. Soft and supple, just the right amount of acidity. Nice.

January 21, 2018 - Chocolate, plum, charcoal on the palate. Quite a bit more tannic-y (and less silky) than I expected for such a high concentration of Merlot.

October 5, 2017 - The Grand Tour - day four (Bordeaux): Rich, creamy, spicy with brooding dark fruit almost tending to fruit cake. Vanilla here as well as a savoury note. Juicy, slightly sharp blackberry and plum. Plentiful spice slight vanilla chocolate with fine, slightly gritty tannins get slightly savoury and sour with time.

October 8, 2016 - Good nose and an easy drinker, with lots of cherry and a touch of tartness. Not a very memorable wine, but perhaps time will help.
