Community Tasting Notes 6

March 12, 2017 - Ruby colour, minimal bricking. Attractive nose of red fruits. Palate is somewhat astringent with noticeable acidity and some hard tannins on the finish. Clearly not an ideal vintage for this wine, but could also be shut down at this point. A decent value given its reasonable price, but not a particularly exciting wine.

August 16, 2015 - Light and astringent to start. Smoother with air and sipping. Prefer the nuits

July 19, 2014 - Dark and opaque by Burgundy standards. Mostly reticent nose other than the smell of Pinot Noir, some mineral, and a whiff of alchol. Burgundy notes on the palate, modest acid. Generally sound, yet uninspiring.

July 16, 2014 - Light garnet color. Nose of strawberries, red fruit, hint of blue berries. 2nd day tasting. Palate is light, lighter than the nose would intimate. My first reaction was "pretty." Strawberry, rhubarb. Tannins are silky, mild acidity. PQR for this wine is great.

January 10, 2014 - Very balanced, nice acidity. Fruity. Easily drinkable, but not so interesting.
