  October 26, 2016 - Used some to deglaze, decanted rest of bottle and didnt drink until next day. As others noted, doesn't seem well integrated. Big oak tobacco taste, seemed hot in middle then rounds out. Good structure. Just a bit disjointed.

  July 15, 2016 - Mostly consistent with prior note. This bottle didn't take as long to settle but ended in the same place as the last bottle...pencil shavings, cocoa, etc. No real complexity but a decent cup of juice.

  October 12, 2015 - Dark garnet and a very simple nose of dark berry and pencil shavings. Cocoa and some underlying red fruit lead into a light finish with minimal tannin and pleasant acidity. This was all after two hours in the decanter. Occasional sampling from the time of opening yielded much variation...starting with tightly wound dark fruit then blossoming into super ripe red fruit before settling down. I liked the variation from the one hour mark best but sadly it didn't last.
  
  This is too inconsistent with no real identity. I actually enjoy the final variation for the price but at the same time it is a bit disappointing when it finally lands there because of what it briefly was at some points along the way.

  July 13, 2015 - OK for a Monday night. Not sure if this will ever integrate well. Inconsistent flavors and texture over a couple hours.
