May 9, 2021 - Not very complex but nice easy drinking Bordeaux. Good QPR

  • mtnbarry Likes this wine: 90 points

January 3, 2021 - Initial subtle barnyardy nose with pretty ripe red and black fruit flavors - med/light weight. After a 2 hour decant puts on weight, darkens and develops strong flavors of coffee, dark chocolate, dried provencal herbs and quince paste to add complexity. Though oak influence does seem to be too dominant, wine retains enough freshness to remain composed. Probably a 88pt wine, but, giving a 90 pt rating because the QPR is just outstanding. Drinking very well now and will for the next few years, will be interesting to see if it can hold together for the long haul.

October 13, 2020 - This is a really nice wine. Not complex but good concentration of dark fruits and refreshing. Tannins all resolved. Not got the structure to age, but great now

August 28, 2020 - Lively acidity and energy, pleasantly surprised. Limited complexity though and the finish is relatively short. Still, very good value overall.

March 13, 2020 - Have had this wine on several occasions, and it is developing nicely. Certainly open enough for enjoying, but should continue to develop for 10 years or so.
