March 27, 2024 - Angelica Wine Club - Italian (Noi Restaurant, Petersham): herbaceous, touches of tobacco leaf, earth, charcuterie, leather, slightly oxidised notes, baked cherry. Medium plus acidity, cherry, slight blackcurrant, wood and grape derived tannins are chewy.
December 17, 2023 - Fresh nose with meaty notes, ink, and black cherry. Refreshing and pleasant palate, with a slightly tannic finish. Rated 92-93.
Nez frais, avec des notes viandées, encre, cerise noire. Bouche fraîche et agréable, finale un peu tannique. 92-93

October 9, 2020 - From 375ml bottle, 30 minute decant. Nice rich dark red fruit, tobacco and earthy notes. Showing some nice mature notes. Excellent overall. Great match with rare grilled venison chops.
April 10, 2020 - 80% Sangiovese 20% Malvasia Nera and Merlot. Earthy on nose that I love. Not fruity on nose but fruity on mouth. Air about 30-45 mins. Sweet but better than 2011 Tenuta San Guido 'Guidalberto' Toscana IGT, TUSCANY, ITALY (Drank on 9/4/2020) which is too sweet for me.
February 17, 2020 - Decanted for a about 45 minutes and came alive. Very nice Chianti and holding up well.
September 21, 2019 - Like it a lot. Don’t leave it any longer. It peaks now. It is quite fresh but what keeps me from the 90’ies is a slightly beefy tone. It provides robustness but at the expense of elegance. In my humble opinion.
February 12, 2019 - Opened oxidated and tart and thought the wine was well past it prime. After 30 mins of air the wine came back to life in the glass with youthful fruity nose, medium body and gripping tannins. However I still have higher expectation for this wine
