March 30, 2024 - Superb. Still so young. Gorgeous red and black fruit and tar behind. Huge depth and length. Structure still big but there is plenty of fruit to balance it. Drinking beautifully now, will last for a long time. Is it better because its from Mag? I think Yes.

November 29, 2023 - I always feel that Haut Brion will be the winner if its in the blind tasting as it more mellow and female drinker like it. For aged Bordeaux, this is clearly a treat. Pronounced nose intesoty with notes of aged red and black fruits, mushroom, flora, spices, cedar and toast. Medium+ acidity and medium tannin. Long finish. Drink up. Will not improve with ageing.

November 29, 2023 - This is going from strength to strength, and kicks the Margaux into touch as the wine of the vintage. As stated previously, it is fully mature with everything integrated and tertiary. To be honest it reminds me why a top mature Bordeaux is so unique. A word of warning air is the enemy of this wine. Splash decant and stopper between glasses. Otherwise, it will start to fade.

November 18, 2023 - Sadly, a weak bottle. Muted and short, with little substance.

(Château Haut-Brion) Medium red violet color with small floating sediment particles and pale meniscus; tangy, barbecue sauce and hoisin nose; tangy, tart hoisin sauc, plum palate, big and structured, with lots of stuffing; medium-plus finish 92+ pts.

(Chateau Haut Brion) This is just a sexy bottle of wine that is in such a good place right now. Huge fruit, opulent palate, great crisp acids and a killer finish. All the Haut Brion character you could want but in an easy way. Great fragrance on the nose. A bottle could be finished very easily of this due to the sensational lithe yet heavy texture. I lked this alot.
