  December 26, 2023 - PnP excellent cork , not sure of the split between varieties
  Colour translucent ruby with amber hues bright and clear 15/15
  Nose clean aromas super complex fading fruit notes of cherry black berry raspberry plum liquorice tobacco grilled meat hint of menthol mint eucalyptus vanilla oak spice 29/30
  Palate mainly secondary flavours more fruit on the nose than on the palate , silky mouthfeel , long elegant finish amazing for 22 yo 40/44
  overall probably just over the peak now but I enjoyed it 10/11

  September 14, 2018 - Coravin fun - Ready to drink (Kennards, Waterloo): From Coravin. Ripe blackberry jam, cream, vanilla, a little chocolate, touch of wood glue, pretty much of a muchness in the mouth with floury tannins and some alcohol heat that lends spic on the finish. Not as 'huge' as I'd expected….more stew/roast beef than full on smoky BBQ...but this does have plenty of life left.

  Didnt fully open up during this period but still very enjoyable. Still very primary and has easily 10-20 years to go depending on your tastes.
