  April 21, 2015 - Dense and dark carmine color;
  On nose sweet dark berry fruit, cherries, roses and also some tar and tannin. Quite charming
  On palate the kinks have gone and the wine is smooth, round and tastes fully mature.
  A steal considering the purchase price in Italy: 8.- EUR .
  This was the last bottle; I certainly will buy more of that wine should I ever get close to the Amalfi coast again.

  April 28, 2013 - Bought the wine at a local hotel in Positano, where we had it for dinner.
  Dark ruby color, hint of purple at the edge,
  nose reveals smells of black fruit and wood, still youthful and quite pleasant.
  On palate there is fruit and some tannins, the latter probably more from the grapes than barrel wood.
  Everything goes well together. Wine will probably hold on for at least another 5 years.
  One more bottle in the cellar. Hold on to it.
