August 17, 2020 - 20 minute decant (little sediment). 2 years since last tasting. This bottle has more intensity on the palate and is better balanced. Nice Nebbiolo expression. Still drinking very well.

June 16, 2018 - Nice perfumed nose. Palate was less intense. I was expecting a more expressive wine for the money.

November 27, 2017 - Consumed during lunch at the winery's restaurant in Serralunga d'Alba.
Shows already some development: Orange rim, perfumed sweet nose and - after a short decant - nicely integrated tannin. Precise, medium-bodied and with a quite lengthy aftertaste.
Reminds me of the vintage 2000 version of this wine. For current and near-term consumption this is a great, tasty choice, not so much for cellaring though. -

May 1, 2013 - Serralunga anteprima.
Typical Schiavenza style, rich and spicy. Promising. Seems more fruity than the 2008.
