October 14, 2022 - This wine is still really good right now; at peak, delicious !! I agree with my tasting note of over 14 months ago !!
A perfect cork after over a decade in the bottle. Consumed over two days, this balanced wine showed well and displays beautiful depth and integrated complexity. Medium ruby color with no oxidation and excellent clarity. Aromas of red cherry and cranberry. Flavors of bing cherry, raspberry, and rhubarb with a hint of forest floor. This Pinot Noir has a medium to long finish. A balanced and flavorful Pinot Noir. This wine may have more years of life remaining, unfortunately, I have no bottles from this vintage remaining in the cellar. Great fruit sourced from the the estate vineyard named for Marimar's father up the hill from the winery on the western edge of the Russian River AVA. The block is in a ravine feature from an earthquake years ago. Great winemaking to consistently produce a fine Pinot Noir.

July 30, 2021 - This wine is really good right now; near peak, delicious !!
A perfect cork after over a decade in the bottle. Consumed over two days, this balanced wine showed more fruit on the first day bouncing from the glass. On day two this balanced wine had softened just a little to display increased depth and integrated complexity. This wine may have more years of life remaining. I still have a couple of bottles from this vintage remaining in the cellar and will revisit soon to validate this tasting note. Great fruit sourced from the the estate vineyard named for Marimar's father up the hill from the winery on the western edge of the Russian River AVA. The block is in a ravine feature from an earthquake years ago. Great winemaking to consistently produce a fine Pinot Noir.

November 4, 2015 - Much improved in 2 years - fruit, though restrained, is better balanced with spice notes (which were a bit overbearing). An interesting, even intriguing, West Sonoma pinot.
