  September 3, 2019 - Black raspberry and brambly boysenberry fruit, a mild and pleasant herbaceousness and interesting secondary development underway with hints of roasted meat. A delightfully new world take on Tempier. Ignore the drink dates shown here--this wine's not yet at peak. No sediment but a one-hour decant helpful for popping the flavors.

  April 1, 2018 - Served as one of the red wine choices with a crown roast of pork. It became apparent to me that I served this wine too cold and that I should have decanted it. As it warmed in the glass, it opened nicely both nose and flavor wise. Martin Redmond's 11/11/14 review summarizes our experience with it once warmed and opened up.

  August 2, 2017 - lots of black berry fruit, sour cherry, crushed stone, black pepper. some peat and hay adds interest to the flavor profile. tannins are a bit light and the profile goes juicy on midpalate. nice finish.
