January 22, 2022 - This is a fantastic wine, in a fantastic place. Smooth, integrated, silky, dark fruits with medium to long finish. If you have, feel it is in a great drinking window. Enjoy!

September 4, 2013 - this wine didnt really impress me at all the first day, so i let it sit in the fridge for 24 hours and whadda you know, it really opened up!

nose: explosive dark berries, cedar, mint, anise, all in equal proportion, with the intensity of exotic spice component penetrating and lingering long after

palate: intense, dense, chewy, fresh blackberry [im not a big fan of blackberries, but this is so delicious]. did i say intense? impression of jammy viscosity, mineral goodness, sugarcane surprise on the midpalate. soft, beautiful tannins with a huge clove, milk chocolate, and cedar finish that turns into cacao at the very end.

blackberry acidity, awesome structure. seamlessly delicious from start to finish. i should have probably opened this in 5 years or so and it would have been mindblowing. as it is it's still delicious, but think of the possibilities! i'll probably buy another bottle or 2 and cellar.
