December 14, 2021 - Fantastic complex nose with roses, ripe strawberries, forrest floor and many other tertiary aromas.
Fresh acidity (lingonberries, crane berries a touch of strawberries), integrated oak and typical Pinot characters. Long balanced aftertaste with a bit dry tannins.
Bought at the domain 20 years ago and I was a bit nervous when the cork broke 4 times before I got it out of the bottle but no need to worry when directly the bouquet flowed out of bottles. -

January 3, 2017 - Cherry red colour. Typical Vosne fruit with dark cherry, blackberry and wild strawberry and touches of earth and spice. Palate medium weight with plenty of dark fruit and loamy earth. Not refined but generous and hearty wine with plenty of Vosne character.

February 21, 2008 - Seattle Burgundy Group Tasting #5 Vosne Romanée (Triage Warehouse): Pale ruby, Orange Rim. Nose begins with serious sulphur, but is followed by pretty wild cherry, sour raspberry, and vanilla along with cinnamon and clove from a moderate oak influence. There is also a sweet/grainy almost graham cracker like note.
On the palate, the wine is smooth to the point of being soft, but I don't think that this reflects a lack of concentration or quality; rather an elegant, silky tannin and seemless balance. Flavors are dominated by spice, wild cherry and fresh clay earth. The finish is long and spicy, the wine is a little less demure on the finish.
Overall, my impressions are that this is stylish and balanced if lacking a little character. -

August 29, 2003 - Tasted at the Vintage Wines, Ltd. tasting bar. Bright disc. Medium-to-deep ruby robe with red rim. Clean nose, showing moderately intense black cherry, cola and kirsch, with light bret. Medium-bodied on the palate, with medium sweet tanniins and medium acidity. Medium finish.
