August 20, 2014 - Has a little more body and character than your typical Vinho Verde. The first taste has just enough lingering spritz to mask the surprising minerality and taste of crushed white grape skins that appears when you swish it around. The color has a greenish tinge to the basic golden base. The nose has grapefruit and white flowers with some wet shale earth. Solid earthy core of "Old World" style pineapple, grapefruit, pear skin and apple fruit in a light and spritzy package.

June 26, 2013 - A blend of Loureiro (50%), Arinto (40-30%) and Trajadura (20-10%), the grapes are mainly sourced from the winery's own vineyards (90%) with 10% purchased grapes.
Pale, limpid green color. Clean, pure and fresh nose with slightly greenish, barely ripe character and light aromas of tropical fruits and pithy grapefruit. Light-bodied and refreshing on the palate with high acidity and some very light prickle of carbonation. Dry, refreshing and mineral flavors of green apples, some pear, a little quinine bitterness, a touch of grapefruit pith and hints of herbal greenness. Quite thin and short finish with flavors of unripe white fruit, mouth-cleansing mineral bitterness, some herbs, a little green apples and a touch of lime-driven citrus fruits.
A simple but very tasty and refreshing summer sipper. No complexity to speak of, but you really wouldn't expect to have any at this price. Reliable food wine with greens, simple seafood or picnic food, but also tasty just on its own. Solid value at 7,98€. -

June 1, 2013 - A bit watery, not pale green which was surprising given the type of wine.... Citrus flavor, but not very bright. Tasted at a tasting at Vintage Cellar.
